Mantra AVDM – Error 214 Invalid datetime or timezone of System
We are discussing how to solve Error 214 which you may encounter sometimes while installing the Mantra RD Service. Error 214 says “Mantra MFS100 AVDM Error 214 (Invalid datetime or timezone of system)“.
This error will be displayed in a message box in the bottom right part of your browser.
The error displayed in the message box is shown in the following screenshot.

Error 214 Invalid datetime-Solution
First thing to do for solving this error 214 is:
Right click on the “Date &Time” in the right end of the Windows task bar as mentioned in the above picture.
Now a menu will pop up as seen in the picture below.

Click on “Adjust date/time” as shown in this picture.

Now Windows “Date&Time” settings on your computer will open. Find the Time zone setting as shown below.

The set time zone is not the Indian Standard Time- it is set to a wrong time zone.

To correct the time zone, click on the “Time zone” selection box which is marked in the picture above.

Now you will see various time zone options to select as shown in the above picture. Scroll up and down and find the following time zone:
(UTC+5:30) Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi
This is India’s Time zone. Select this.
Now the Date & Time settings will show India’s time zone as shown below.

Hereafter, you will not see Error 214. You can do the Mantra RD Service setup without Error 214.
If you want to continue RD Service setup, open Windows Services Manager. Locate and Restart the Mantra AVDM in Services Manager to finish the remaining steps to convert the Mantra MFS100 device to Aadhaar Registered device for submitting Jeevan Pramaan Life Certificate.
