You can submit Jeevan Pramaan Digital Life Certificate, if you have completed the following steps which were discussed in detail in other sections.

• Fingerprint Scanner Installation
• RD Service Installation
• Jeevan Pramaan Application Installation.

This is the final step in the Step-by-Step process of submitting Digital Life Certificate for pensioners.

Connect the Fingerprint Scanner to your computer, if not connected already.

First open Windows ‘Services’ Manager and restart the ‘RD Service’ as in the picture below. If required refer here to see how to open Windows ‘Services Manager’ and restart RD Service.

Now double click on the Jeevan Pramaan icon on your desktop to launch the Jeevan Pramaan application. if everything is installed correctly the following window for Operator Authentication will open.

When you are submitting Jeevan Pramaan for the first time on your computer, there are two steps :

• Operator Authentication
• Pensioner Authentication

When you submit next time on the same computer, Operator Authentication is not needed and you will be going directly to Pensioner Authentication.

Any person can act as an operator. Pensioner himself can also be the operator. Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile phone number and email id as shown below. Press ‘Generate OTP’ button.

Enter the OTP received on your Mobile/ Email. Press OK.

Enter your name exactly as in the Aadhaar card. Give necessary consent by clicking the check box. Keep your finger on the fingerprint scanner and Press the button ‘Biometric Scan‘ shown below.

Now you will see the following message as ‘Operator Authentication Successful’. This means the Operator Registration is successful. Press OK to go to next step.

Jeevan Pramaan application will restart now and you will go to Pensioner Authentication automatically. (Please note that now onwards, whenever you run Jeevan Pramaan application, the Pensioner Authentication screen will open directly since you have already registered as operator (one time process)

The following screen will appear. Enter your Aadhaar number, mobile phone number and email id as shown below. Press ‘Generate OTP’ button.

Enter the OTP received on your Mobile/ Email. Press OK.

The following window will appear to enter the Pensioner Details. You have to enter these- PPO (Pension Pay Order) Number, Pensioner Name, Type of Pension, Organization Type, Sanctioning Authority, Disbursing Agency Pension Account Number.

If you have submitted Jeevan Pramaan earlier, your screen may-be prefilled with data. In that case you can select your PPO Number from the dropdown menu and check that the pre-filled data in other fields are correct. Click ‘Next’ button to proceed.

Answer your family and re-employment details and proceed.

Now you see a preview of all the entered details. Ensure that everything is correct. Tick both the check boxes and proceed.

Now the pop-up will appear showing your PPO Number. Pop-up will ask you whether you want to generate Digital Life Certificate for any other pension not entered above. If you are having only one pension, press ‘No’ button to proceed.

This pop-up will show the PPO No you have selected for DLC generation. Tick the check box to give consent. Keep your finger on the fingerprint scanner and and click the “Biometric Scan” button to continue.

If the authentication is successful, the DLC or Jeevan Pramaan is generated successfully. The Pramaan ID and the PPO number is displayed in the window shown below. The pensioner’s photo, name , date and time are also displayed. You can print the Digital Life Certificate or Jeevan Pramaan.

The pensioner will also receive an SMS which contains the Pramaan-ID and the link from which he can download Jeevan Pramaan (DLC) if required. The Digital Life Certificate will be automatically forwarded to the concerned Pension Disbursing Agency. There is no need to physically send it.

The downloaded Jeevan Pramaan Patra or Digital Life Certificate (DLC) will be as shown above.
